Epoxy Potting Compound

Taile 7180 is a two-component black epoxy potting compound with a 10:1 mixing ratio by weight. It features high hardness Shore D 85, thermal conductivity 0.5 W/m·K, excellent tensile strength up to 40 MPa, and wide operating temperature range from -40℃ to 180℃. It can be cured at room temperature or accelerated by heating. After curing, it provides reliable electrical insulation, outstanding mechanical protection and thermal management for electronic parts. Widely used for encapsulation of motors, engines, ignition coils, transformers, automotive electronics and power modules.

Operation Instructions

1. Weigh component A and B strictly according to 10:1 weight ratio

2. Clean the substrate surface to keep dry, oil-free and dust-free

3. Stir A & B thoroughly for 2–3 minutes to avoid uneven curing

4. Pour into the cavity, vacuum defoaming is recommended to remove bubbles

5. Cure at room temperature or heating condition, test after full curing

Packaging & Storage

• Standard packing: A:20kg plastic pail, B:2kg plastic can; 5kg/kit for small order

• Store in cool, dry, ventilated warehouse, avoid direct sunlight

• Transport as general chemical goods, non-dangerous goods

• Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage
