480 is a one-component ethyl cyanoacrylate instant adhesive with a rubber-toughened formula, equivalent to Loctite 480. It is black, with a viscosity of 800~1000 mPa·s, and provides high impact, peel, and vibration resistance. With a fixture time of 15~25 seconds and a shear strength of approximately 26 N/mm² on mild steel grit-blasted, it is suitable for bonding metal, rubber, elastomer, plastic, and especially metal-to-rubber and metal-to-magnet applications.

Product Description

480 is a one-component ethyl cyanoacrylate instant adhesive with a rubber-toughened formula,It is black, low viscosity (800~1000 mPa·s), and provides high impact, peel, and vibration resistance. With a fixture time of approximately 15~25 seconds on steel and a shear strength of approximately 26 N/mm² on mild steel grit-blasted, it is suitable for bonding metal, rubber, elastomer, plastic, and especially metal-to-rubber and metal-to-magnet applications. It offers good moisture resistance and is available in 20g and 500g packaging. Shelf life is 12 months.

Operating Instructions
1.Before use, ensure the bonding surfaces are clean, dry, free of oil, and free of dust.
2.Apply a thin layer of adhesive evenly to the prepared surfaces.
3.Join the two surfaces and apply light pressure, holding for approximately 90 seconds until initial cure is complete.
4.Continue curing at room temperature for 24 hours to reach maximum strength.
5.For difficult materials like polyolefins, it is recommended to pre-treat with a primer (such as 770 accelerator).
