3808(3011)-1A Hydrolyzable UV Adhesive is a one-component UV-LED curable acrylate adhesive engineered for temporary glass-processing fixation. It delivers reliable bonding strength during glass thinning, etching and polishing procedures and features excellent hydrofluoric-acid resistance to withstand harsh manufacturing environments.
After UV LED curing with 365-395nm light source, the glue can be quickly hydrolyzed in 90-100℃ boiling water within 2-10minutes (ultrasonic assistance is recommended). It realizes non-destructive debonding without scratching glass surfaces.
Transparent liquid with viscosity 300-500mPa·s, good wettability on glass. Shelf life 3 months under sealed-cool storage. Widely adopted for optical glass, cover-glass and display-glass production. 50ml sample bottles are available for customer evaluation.
Hydrolyzable debonding: Non-damaging glass separation within 2-10minutes in boiling water at 90-100℃; ultrasonic assistance speeds up processing.
Hydrofluoric acid resistance: Maintains bonding stability during HF-involved glass thinning & etching manufacturing.
Low-energy LED curing: Works under 365-395nm UV-LED with 30mW/cm² intensity, energy-suitable for mass-production lines.
High transparency: Matches glass refractive index; does not interfere with optical inspection.
Excellent shock resistance: Shore D 50-55 hardness protects glass parts against shock during handling and processing.
One-component ready-to-use formulation: No mixing required, simple dispensing operation.
Typical Application Scenarios
Temporary fixation for glass thinning process (cover glass for mobile devices, display glass)
Temporary bonding & protection for glass etching procedures
Temporary holding during glass grinding and polishing
Temporary positioning for optical glass manufacturing
All glass-processing workflows requiring firm in-process bonding and non-destructive hot-water removal after completion
Application Notes
Surface Preparation: Bonding surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned. Wipe substrates with organic solvent to eliminate dust, grease and release agent which will impair bonding performance.
Coating & Lamination: Apply adhesive evenly on both bonding surfaces. Fully press substrates together until adhesive is fully cured.
Factors affecting curing efficiency: Actual curing speed is affected by workpiece geometry, substrate material, glue thickness and UV lamp performance. Final curing parameters should be validated with real-world production trials.
UV lamp maintenance: Regularly test UV lamp intensity and irradiance. Over-exposure has limited negative impact, yet insufficient UV exposure leads to incomplete polymerization, lower conversion rate and poor environmental resistance.
Safety operation: Avoid skin contact. In case of contact, wipe with alcohol and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Refer to MSDS for full safety instructions.
