High-Temperature Resistant Cyanoacrylate Adhesive

Product Introduction

498 is a one-component ethyl cyanoacrylate instant adhesive with high temperature and moisture resistance. With a viscosity of 400~600 mPa·s, a fixture time of 8~20 seconds on steel, and a shear strength of 19 N/mm² on grit blasted steel, it offers excellent thermal cycling resistance: 150℃ for 2 hours, max tested 150℃ for 5 hours, instant 180℃. It is suitable for speaker assembly, PCB component fixing, motor bonding, and other high-temperature applications. Shelf life is 12 months, available in 20g and 1kg packaging.

Operating Instructions

1.Before use, ensure the bonding surfaces are clean, dry, free of oil, and free of dust.
2.Apply a thin layer of adhesive evenly to the prepared surfaces.
3.Join the two surfaces and apply light pressure, holding for 8~20 seconds until initial cure is complete.
4.Continue curing at room temperature to reach final strength.
5.For use in high-temperature or high-humidity environments, small-batch testing is recommended to confirm suitability.
